Last month, Melting Pot announced the return of its Peninsula region location at 12233 Jefferson Avenue, Suite 3 in Newport News, Virginia. The franchised location opened its doors on Wednesday, June 29 with a slew of local patrons ready to try the premier fondue restaurant’s new, craveable limited-time menu offerings in an always-welcoming atmosphere.
The new location is owned by long-time franchisees of Melting Pot, Jason Chea and Chad Hornik, who bring vast experience in the restaurant industry. The Daily Press featured the recent opening and our successful franchisees – be sure to check out the article and slideshow with photos of the recent event here.
In addition to featuring the brand’s new limited-time menu, Fondue Across America, which includes unique fondue “takes” on some of America’s quintessential dishes like Chicago deep-dish pizza and New York cheesecake, the location incorporates Melting Pot's new design initiative. After conducting a detailed seating analysis and study of customer design preferences, Melting Pot has created the optimal dining and bar space for guests. In addition, a patio is being designed to seat approximately 20 guests and will be available soon.
“It’s no secret that the residents of Newport News were hungry for the much anticipated return of Melting Pot, as evidenced by the incredible turn out we had at the grand opening event,” said Dan Stone, chief business & people development officer at Front Burner. “It’s an exciting time to join Melting Pot’s franchisee family, and we look forward to continuing our strategic growth plans and creating new special memories for our loyal guests domestically and internationally.”
