In their first-ever list ranking top U.S. restaurant chains, TripAdvisor – the world’s largest travel website – placed Melting Pot among the top 10 medium-sized restaurant chains in the country.
TripAdvisor divided their rankings into three categories:
- “Small chains” – restaurant franchises with 10-50 locations listed on TripAdvisor.
- “Medium chains” – restaurants that have 51-100 TripAdvisor-listed locations; and
- “Large chains” - chains with 101 or more locations.
These lists were generated by an algorithm that evaluated and ranked restaurants based on countless TripAdvisor user reviews, gathered from each of the chain’s restaurant locations between December 1, 2017, and November 30, 2018.
“Chain restaurants are integral to the American dining experience as they offer consumers convenient and satisfying meals for all occasions,” said senior vice president for TripAdvisor Restaurants, Bertrand Jelensperger. “Every company featured in these rankings should be proud of the recognition they are receiving from TripAdvisor’s community of millions of travelers and locals searching our site for a great place to eat.”
