We’ve made it easier for couples to plan date night. Beginning March 5, Melting Pot® is turning every Thursday into a Thursdate, our dedicated weekly night of romance. Couples who make reservations for our Thursdate will enjoy a special four-course menu, drink pairings, and a table bedecked with candles and rose petals. For more than 40 years, Melting Pot has provided a backdrop for celebrations of love and romance, embracing romantic moments big and small. Thursdate expands on these experiences and gives couples a delicious opportunity for quality time.
The Thursdate four-course menu includes our artisan cheese fondue, a fresh salad course, a premium entrée with the option to add a lobster tail, and our decadent Sparkling Chocolate Fondue dessert. We’ve also put together a selection of handcrafted drinks just perfect for pairing with these four courses to encourage couples to indulge.
Even though dating, and relationships in general, has moved toward texting, apps, and online interaction, a report from the University of Virginia’s National Marriage Project found a strong correlation between weekly date nights and happy couples. In a survey of more than 1,600 married couples aged 18-55, those who dedicated time at least once a week just for each other were 3.5 times more likely to report being “very happy.” Thursdates give our franchise owners a way to take the stress out of planning a date night and create the perfect atmosphere for a couple to connect.
